Planning a Honeymoon? Or Maybe just a getaway… Italy is a must See! After my wife and I got married we decided that Italy was the place for our Honeymoon. We are both Italian (and love wine) so it was a no brainer picking Italy as our go to destination.We traveled to Rome, Tuscany, Venezia, Frascati, and Pienza. We saw the Colosseum, the Vatican, the Trevi Fountain, and drank all the wine we could! We stayed in Rome and traveled by bus and train everywhere. It was nice to enjoy the ride and the scenery along the way.

The people of Italy were so sweet! They were polite and helped us out if we needed help with directions. One thing I will say is that there are people who do try to pickpocket you. It’s true! My wife tested it out… she put one of the maps in her pocket and had it sticking out a little and sure enough… someone reached down and grabbed it! My wife also caught an older lady, who was super adorable, she was reaching in my backpack!! If you do travel to Italy I would suggest one of those backpacks that lock the zippers!

We booked mostly food and wine tours… besides the Colosseum and the Vatican. We used a company called Viator. They were super easy to work with! If you are doing any kind of traveling I suggest you use them. They have millions of review and the lowest prices for the tours.
